Retained Search

A retained Search represents a clear commitment from both sides. A Retained Search is recommended for your most important, most committed, confidential or difficult recruiting efforts. When time, complexity and confidentiality are critical, a Retained Search is a sound option.
A Retained Search is particularly appropriate when the need is urgent, the candidate will have a significant impact on company performance, or new opportunities emerge that must be quickly addressed. We understand and thrive in that environment. We consistently provide the best in speed, quality, and successful performance outcomes.

A Retained Search requires an $8,000 start-up fee to initiate the recruitment process. When a placement is made, the client pays the final fee within 30 days from the candidate’s start date. We provide a 100-day full replacement warranty. The service charge is 20% to 25% depending upon the search requirements of the first year’s compensation.

Contingency Search

No fees are due until you hire our candidate. If you prefer a risk-free search relationship and your search does not involve confidentiality, sensitivity, a high degree of complexity or the exclusive focus of a search firm, the contingency fee structure may be your preference. While there are obvious advantages and disadvantages to the contingency fee approach, it is the best option for you if you do not require or expect a single search firm to land the result on your behalf.
Client agrees to pay the total invoice upon placement. We provide a 100 days replacement guarantee. The service charge typically 20-25% of the candidate’s first year’s compensation.

Engagement Search

An engagement fee agreement represents a middle ground. It is part contingency (most of the payment comes at the end) and part retainer (it involves an upfront fee). With this type of arrangement, a company pays an engagement fee – $3000 of the negotiated overall fee. The balance upon final job acceptance. This differs from retainer agreements where there are usually set payments throughout the search process based on time periods and/or criteria that are met along the way. Some companies like this method because both parties have “skin in the game” and are motivated for the right reasons.
