Brooks Stockmon is the founder and owner of Stockmon Search. He offers over 14 years of experience in the field of recruitment and search, with over half that time spent recruiting in the field of healthcare. Before becoming involved in recruiting, Brooks owned his own healthcare insurance agency. In that role, he learned how to serve the needs of a wide spectrum of professional businesses. He’s made his home in several areas of the country, including the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast. This personal knowledge of the United States, as well as his experience with clients, facilitates his day to day recruitment processes.
For the last 9 years, Brooks has been recruiting solely for nursing professionals within academia. He’s gained an in-depth understanding of the needs of both nursing schools and nursing educators, and firmly believes in innovative and “outside the box” solutions. Elsa M. Stockmon Executive Administrative Assistant for almost 40 years with NextEra Energy, Inc. (parent Company of Florida Power & Light) a Fortune 500 Company; the last 20 years assisting three Presidents, CEO/Chairman and a number of Executive Vice Presidents.
Prior to having completed and achieving a Certification in Business Administration (Office Management) from Miami Dade State College, graduated from Charron Williams Commercial College in Miami, Florida.
Robert Grant Harmon MSN. DNP(c). CRNA
Rob Harmon retired from the U.S Army in 2011 with 27 years of military service. He then served as a consultant to the Texas state Guard in the rank of Colonel from 2013 to 2016. He completed his last deployment to Afghanistan in 2010 as a trauma anesthetist where he initially served with the British. Colonel Harmon started his military career as an enlisted soldier serving with Pershing Nuclear missiles in Europe during the cold war. He also served with 101st Airborne, Task Force 160th, and the 401st MPs. As an Army Nurse Corps officer, he worked in critical care, trauma, hospital administration, education, and anesthesia. He has experience in executive leadership and advance practice nursing, to include nursing education from vocational nursing to nursing anesthesia practice. He completed the Army and Air Force Officer Advance Course and is a graduate of Command and General Staff College. Rob is the recipient of many Military honors and awards to include the Bronze Star Medal. He has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University, a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. He is a graduate of the prestigious Army Program in Anesthesia Nursing. He studied at Baylor College of Medicine and is now a DNP candidate at Adeline Christian University studying advance practice and executive leadership. He is the Author of the book, “Smiles are the Beginning of Laughter”. Rob and His wife JoAnn have four children and they have devoted themselves to the support of world missions and military family ministries. Rob serves as a recruiter and consultant for Stockmon Search Inc. His depth of experience in nursing education, and advance practice is a valuable resource for organizations seeking academic leaders or individual's seeking leadership positions in nursing education.
Patrick Neff-Short RN BSN is a 2010 graduate from the University of Louisville with his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. The focus of his nursing career has been with critical care transplant patients requiring intense skill and focus. He has recently joined Stockmon Search, Inc., which continues to require his nursing skill set and experience when placing highly educated nursing professionals. He resides in Louisville, KY with his wife Brandi, a family nurse practitioner and his two stepchildren, Austin and Ireland. He enjoys reading, working out, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his extended family in Ohio.
Lisa Boland DNP, a Doctoral prepared nurse leader, is well known for her personal approach and commitment to make a difference in the lives of her clients. Lisa understands those silent nudges that come when it is time to make a career change and will take that first step with you, navigating the recruitment process allowing you to give focus on your daily priorities. Lisa’s career has evolved over many years a large integrated health network gaining unparalleled administrative nursing experience including nurse recruitment and retention. With this unique focus on recruitment and retention, Lisa aims to help nurse leaders in higher education make a career move that meets individual needs. Lisa holds a Doctorate degree in Executive Leadership from American Sentinel University and holds ANCC Nurse Executive Advance – Board Certification.
